The institution RGCAS is run by The Gulf Returnees Educational Society (GRES). RGCAS is affiliated to the University of Madras, Chennai.
The college is situated in a lush green campus spread over 29 acres of land, located just 2 kilometers from the Sriperumbudur Toll Plaza on the Chennai–Bangalore NH4 National Highway. Sriperumbudur is a well-known industrial hub with several large-scale automobile industries.
The college is well equipped with strong physical and human infrastructure. The Trust aims to provide quality education to underprivileged and downtrodden students from rural areas in and around Chennai.
